That 8-track adapter is amazing! I have never seen one before. Great find.

Same here, Jennifer! I didn't even know they made such a thing.

Are you serious Jen! Dad said he HAD that exact same 8-track case! That one is in pretty good shape for it's age. We only threw out Dad's 8-tracks a few years ago, too bad. I never realized that you would be interested in them.

No way! What a bummer...

I remember dad's cases were the same. But the thing is, I didn't even know I wanted 8-tracks until I bought these ones yesterday.

The kids are loving them! In fact, The Statler Brother's 'Flowers on the Wall' tape broke already while the kids were listening to it this morning -- must have been at the end of its life.

Funny, teaching these kids how things like tapes and records wore out from too much use. It doesn't happen too much with CD's! I was chuckling at how gingerly they were handling the records too. haha. (Like a CD. Although, it's probably not a bad idea when they're so old.)

Matt's been looking for both a record player and an 8 track for his classroom. I think he found both now after much searching. He plans to use them for his American Cultures class that goes through each decade. Great find!
